Intermittent Fasting
Early in man’s time here on earth intermittent fasting was not a choice. Following the old adage “there’s nothing new under the sun”, I’ve taken a survival adaptation and turned it into a positive way of dealing with an over-abundance.
One of the most common methods for practicing intermittent fasting is the time restriction method (16/8), where you only eat within a certain window. You fast for 16 hours each day, and eating during 8 hours each day. The beauty of this method is that it’s easier to hit your daily caloric goals than other methods.
Some of the benefits of intermittent fasting:
Improve Insulin Sensitivity (a take-off on GO-LO)
Increase Human Growth Hormone (HGH)
Repair Cells (Autophagy)
Facilitate Fat Loss
Improve Blood Lipid Profile
Less Body Inflammation
